Selective Mutism

Together with researchers from the Amsterdam University Medical Center and Levvel we developed a VR practice tool called “Praten op School” (“talking at school”) to augment the therapy for selective mutism.

PCIT-VR

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a Behavioral parent training (BPT) intervention that has proven to be effective in decreasing child disruptive behavior and parenting stress. In this project we developed a software architecture that adds VR exercises to PCIT.

Signing Avatars

In the Signing Avatars project, the Visualization Lab collaborates with researchers from SignLab to develop technology that makes Dutch Sign Language readily accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

We developed a virtual reality application for the Environmental Communication Lab aimed at educating high school students in the Netherlands about climate change, biodiversity loss, and the impact of food choices.
