The Visualisation Lab is equipped with a state-of-the-art professional motion capture facility designed to bring your projects to life with unparalleled precision and realism.
At the heart of our facility is an array of 21 Vicon Vero 2.2 cameras which enables lab-wide, full-body motion capture within a spacious 7 x 11m area. Beyond body movement, our system allows capture of facial expressions either using a FaceWare (Mark IV) system or with Live Link Face on an iPhone. Hand gestures are captured alternatively using finger markers for high-quality captures or StretchSense Pro Fidelity gloves for less demanding applications. This, combined with our advanced camera setup, ensures that every gesture, from the tip of your fingers to the slightest facial twitch, is recorded with high fidelity.
The software to support this allows a broad range of applications. With Shogun Live for real-time capture, Shogun Post for detailed post-capture editing, and Live Link Face for seamless integration of facial animations, our system offers an end-to-end solution. FaceWare Studio and StretchSense Hand Engine further enhance the capture of facial and hand movements, while integration with leading platforms like Unreal Engine and Unity allows for the direct application of captured data into your projects.
